On Sunday mornings, First Kids offers two venues for children during our time together: Small Group Bible Study and First Kids Worship.
Small Group Bible Study - Teaching Bible truths every Sunday morning through Bible studies, crafts, playing games, and other activities are all ways your children will learn about God's love for them. Our teachers are committed to caring for your children by creating a positive and spiritual atmosphere for them.

Children can be checked in by a parent or guardian at the entrance to the 2ND floor of the Family Life Center. Upon picking up your child, parents/guardians must present the receipt issued during check-in earlier that day. The safety and security of all children is top priority at First Kids! We have secured and monitored areas where our children learn and play, as well as a security team that is available if needed. All of our adult volunteers have passed background checks to ensure another layer of safety.
Awana Clubs are held on Wednesdays, September - May, from 6:15-8:00 p.m.
First Baptist Church of Arnold's Awana Clubs is for children two-and-a-half years old (born 02/01/2018) through fifth grade. The goal of Awana Clubs is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.
“The name AWANA is an acrostic which stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed" and is taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. AWANA provides a special place for your children to make new friends, play exciting games, compete in rewarding and challenging contests, receive awards as reinforcements for their good performance, and have opportunities to learn and memorize God's Word, the Bible.
Sparks® ignites the curiosity of early elementary-age kids, Kindergarten- 2ND grade, to learn about the people and events of the Bible, building a foundation of wisdom for knowing Christ.
The T&T (Truth & Training) curriculum teaches kids 3RD – 5TH grade the truth of God's Word, and trains them to follow Him and practice His grace.

For the protection of all children, parents are asked not to drop off a sick child. Upon the recommendation of the Committee on control of Infectious Diseases of the American Academy of Pediatrics, a child should not be taken from home when any of the following exist:
• A fever, vomiting or diarrhea currently or within the previous 24 hours
• Any symptom of a childhood disease such as scarlet fever, measles, mumps, chickenpox or whooping cough
• Common Cold-from onset through one week
• Sore throat, Croup or persistent cough or green runny nose
• Any unexplained rash
• Head lice
• Pink eye or other eye infection
• Hand, foot and mouth disease
If a child develops a fever or other symptoms of illness while at church, he/she will be isolated and the parents contacted to take the child home.
Along with the rest of Next Generation Ministry, we teach The Gospel Project, which immerses preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel message changes everything; heart transformation can only take place when a child experiences the gospel. Through The Gospel Project for Kids, preschoolers will understand that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story—God’s story of redemption.
